A Home for Plants
The planter is the home of the plant indoors; it binds the soil and the plant that come from the outside, and allows them to live inside the built space.
In this series of vessels for growing plants, each object is a homage to a different type of plant - regarding its architecture, its needs and the way it blends in the space inside the house.
Each vessel is lined with a double ceramic wall that drains the excess water, so any kind of drainage tray becomes unnecessary.
Hoya Planter - it allows the plant to climb by twining itself on the planter’s threads, and the planter itself expands in correlation to the plant.
Fern Planter - keeps a humid environment around the plant, and allows for easy-access watering.
A Pair of Planters - for little plants, to group them together in different combinations as an in-door rockery.
